Are you passionate about harmonizing human resources with administrative excellence? The Oregon
Symphony is looking for a dynamic People and Administration Analyst to orchestrate seamless HR
operations and innovative administrative strategies. This key role is perfect for someone who thrives
in a creative and collaborative environment, aiming to enhance the workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine policies, building processes that support organizational efficiency and
enhance the employee experience.
  • Assist the HR Director in various functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, DEI
initiatives, and compliance.
  • Act as the primary liaison for onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive
introduction to the organization.
  • Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy personnel files, manage data entry into HRIS, and
oversee payroll processing as needed.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster continuous improvement in all HR and
administrative processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP) required.
  • At least three years of experience in Human Resources, with direct experience in payroll
processing.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to

confidentiality and professionalism.

This is a full-time, exempt position on a hybrid work model (working in-office 2-3 days per week). Our
office is located in downtown Portland.

Salary Range: $62k - $65k/year, depending on qualifications.

insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan.
