Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

Salary $95,000 - $115,000 a year based on Experience and FTE

JOB DETAILS

  • $5000 Sign On Bonus, paid first pay period following 90 days of employment with OIH
  • Flexible with hours and scheduling
  • Health, Vision, Dental Benefits paid at 50% of Base Plan offered by OIH, eligible after 60 days of employment
  • 401K Benefit: OIH matches 100% of your contributions up to 3% of your compensation, plus OIH matches 50% on your deferrals that are greater than 3%, but less than or equal to 5% of your compensation (Eligibility Requirements: 1yr employment, 1000hrs worked, at least 21yrs of age)
  • Eligible for OIH Benefits after 90 Day Probation Period
  • State Medical License 100% reimbursed, completing 90 days of employment
  • Continuing Education Benefit up to $700 annually, completing 90 days of employment
  • 8 Holidays Per Year:
  • 7 Clinic Closures, 1 Floating Holiday, eligible immediately upon hire
  • PTO 160 Hours Per Year:
  • Vacation PTO accrues based on time worked, with a maximum annual accrual of 80 hours per FTE 1.0, available for use after 90 days of employment
  • Frontloaded PTO is uploaded based on time worked, with a maximum annual eligibility of 80 hours per FTE 1.0, available for use after 90 days of employment
  • Protected Sick Time accrues 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, max use of 40 per year, available immediately as time accrues after first day of employment

Job Description

Oregon Integrated Health is an Integrated Primary Care Medical Home that is hiring for a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Rural Health Candidate Clinic in Eugene Oregon.

Our Eugene clinic has a passionate clinical team of primary care and alternative care providers that provides care to a demographic of Medicaid and Medicare individuals that are in need for a registered nurse to join our team to support clinical triage, care plans, patient education for clinical and social determinants of health to improve the health or our patients!

Our Integrated Medical Home in Eugene currently has a team of 2 Family Nurse Practitioners and 4 Naturopathic Physicians that will work in conjunction with the RN to support our panel of patients. Our integrated clinical team also includes; Licensed Professional Counselors, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Chiropractor, Acupuncture, Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist, 4 Medical Assistants, 2 Front Desk Community Health Workers and our Director of Clinical Operations. Our patients have access to Quest Laboratories directly in our facility. We are also expanding our space to initiate the Vaccine for Children program

JOB DETAILS

  • Triage Care: Support patient with comprehensive assessments providing clinical advice, notification of lab/imaging results that require some level of explanation/education.
  • Chronic disease management and patient education, medication management
  • Assist with the orientation and training of Medical Assistant staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. The RN will support Medical Assistant huddles, hiring, education and oversight.
  • Provided patient and family education on medications, treatments, and self-care to ensure understanding and compliance with healthcare regimens.
  • Develop a client centered plan of care based on the patient diagnosis.
  • Screenings/assessments for Medicare visits
  • Vaccination clinics
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, following evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Valid RN license issued by the state regulatory board.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  3. Minimum of two years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
  4. Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficient computer skills.
  8. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  9. ACLS certification preferred.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing healthcare technologies and a commitment to continued professional growth.
  11. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
