The nurses of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) provide patient and family centered care to the patient populations that include complex cardiac and vascular patient as well as specialty surgery patients, including advanced heart failure, cardiology, CABG, heart valve replacement, adult congenital heart population, ventricular assist device (VAD), heart transplantation, vascular surgery, ENT, plastics, ortho, OB-GYN, and urology.

Must have graduated from a Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited program, or National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited program
Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
Unencumbered Criminal Background Check
BLS/ACLS issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network branch of AHA that will not expire during orientation
Must have excellent communication and reflection skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and the flexibility to delegate, prioritize, and adapt in stressful situations
Minimum score of 15/20 on Adult Critical Care Cluster Interview Evaluation Tool
Current OHSU employees: BSN preferred.
