The Orchards Assisted Living is looking to expand our Dietary department! We are looking for dedicated team members to join our community and grow with us!

Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas after meals
- Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions when preparing meals
- Ensure proper food storage and labeling
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies

• Places prepared food on plates/trays in accordance with tray tickets in line with our established policies and procedures, and, as may be directed by the Food Services Director/Manager or Cook, to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.
• Prepares and delivers food and trays, washes dishes and cleans and sanitizes kitchen according to health standards.
• The Dietary Aide must be detail-oriented, act professionally and must be a team player who works well with others.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or similar role is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
