Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing.
- Help with medication reminders and assist in managing medical appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a home health aide or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to cook and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions or special needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
