We are now hiring a high-energy, fitness-minded Studio Manager to lead our Orangetheory Fitness studio in Arlington, TX. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while overseeing operational functions, leading sales staff and driving sales and memberships. Flexibility to work a varied schedule as needed is also required.

Studio Managers are responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales teams in our facilities. This critical position must have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. As the lead for the sales function, the Studio Manager must execute a lead generation / marketing strategies plan to increase fitness program sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. This leader must pose a high caliber approach to staff development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides excellent leadership and management to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients.
  • Properly manages and exceeds all OTF sales and operational budgets.
  • Leads and coordinates initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio-corp. events, outreach).
  • Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems.
  • Manages monitors, coaches, develops and evaluates the performance of all OTF-related staff.
  • Monitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all OTF staff.
  • ·Responsible for recruiting and onboarding ALL new OTF employees.
  • Builds and maintains OTF class size through scheduling optimization.
  • Develops a high energy culture through contests and incentive based motivation.
  • Models all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example).
  • Trains and mentors subordinates for ongoing success and future growth.
  • Ensures OTF branding through consistency and continuity in all actions.
  • Properly empowers, monitors and evaluates specifically assigned responsibilities of sales team (SA's and fitness team) utilizing Head Trainer.
  • Responsible for managing disciplinary actions involving all OTF employees.
  • Timely response and follow through with all OTF corporate/owner requests.
  • Enforces OTF corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes.
  • Ensures that all front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-In, telephone inquiries (general and sales related), guest registration, cash handling, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests and document scanning.
  • Provides and maintains the highest level of customer service.
  • Provides effective decision making regarding customer service issues.
  • Plans and promotes special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using OTF tools for effective outreach and community involvement.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound.
  • Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Min 2-3 years of previous sales experience required.
  • Min 2-3 years of management experience required, including directly overseeing all aspects of staff management from hiring, training, supporting, discipline, and termination.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends.
  • Be promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs.
  • Understanding of all performance metrics (KPI's), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, manage client and staff concerns, and be a self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
  • Practical work experience using Microsoft Office Products.
  • Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
