Senior Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

Orange EV is seeking an experienced senior marketing specialist with business-to-business experience to join a fast-growing company in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will own and take accountability for tactical marketing that infuses brand messaging, campaign planning, and execution. This individual will be adept at working independently and cross-functionally on the marketing team. Day-to-day will include brief morning meetings to align priorities of advertising ads, assist in planning/tracking tradeshows, website building and editing, HubSpot building emails, segmented lists, landing pages, and editing; promotional materials, content development, and execution of the marketing plan. Plus, working with vendors, contractors, and report to the Marketing Manager. This is an in-house role in Kansas City, Kansas.

Position Responsibilities

  • Being a point person to build hands-on marketing campaigns, using HubSpot to create landing pages, forms, emails and segmenting email lists and A/B testing to enhance lead generation and shorten product purchase lifecycles.
  • Being a point person to build new conversion-driven WordPress website pages, optimizing navigation and brand messaging on current and upcoming campaign pages. Must be very familiar with building WordPress pages, extensions, page headlines, and SEO meta tags, optimizing photos, and working with a web server and back-ups, knowledge of HTML, and CSS is a big plus. Be prepared to walk through the last few campaigns you built hands-on and the last website(s) you helped build in the interview (don’t have to back-end code in this position).
  • Familiar working with web developers on creating custom pages with some advanced features including project management, scope of project, time, and cost estimates.
  • Ability to discuss customer journeys, demographics, and trends, to understand how marketing activity leads to customer sales in HubSpot and WordPress and how they relate in the USA and Canada markets.
  • Create and enable workflows, and recommend changes for greater efficiencies in our platforms including the CRM, WordPress, and HubSpot, please be prepared to discuss workflows in each and how they relate.
  • Solid experience building marketing collateral, with a critical eye for developing digital and print ads, brochures, flyers, and sell sheets, this will be a joint venture with our agencies.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of our products, industry standards, and differentiators so that insight strategies can be developed for more-effective communications and brand awareness in the USA and Canada.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize automation and lead the nurturing process through email, content, events, and social channels such as LinkedIn in a business-to-business environment.
  • Create and distribute monthly reports on critical metrics for lead generation, website traffic, and other KPIs.

Position Qualifications

  • Degree required in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • 5 years in marketing with HubSpot for product launches and inbound marketing campaigns building landing pages, creating/segmenting email lists, and building emails within a business-to-business environment.
  • 5 years of experience in WordPress working with a customized top-tier theme, understanding of template pages and best practices, and working knowledge of HTML and CSS, is a big plus.
  • 5 years of experience building marketing collateral using Adobe Suite, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and working with Excel data lists to HubSpot.
  • 5 years of proficiency with CRMs such as Salesforce or Keap to enhance the customer experience.
  • 5 years of experience working with a medium to large company and growing within their department.
  • Has “the eye” for impactful marketing communication templates and inbound campaign messaging.
