The Ornage County Medical Clinic is seeking a Manager II to be responsible for managing health care services and programs to uninsured and underinsured residents of Orange County to improve community health access and outcomes. Serves as the departmental representative on clinic projects and community meetings. Works with different stakeholders to ensure standards are met for Patient Care Access Network (PCAN) services. Manages the daily operations of the program and its staff to ensure compliance with Federal, State and County rules and regulations.
Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of Department Director. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports and results achieved.
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience in healthcare management or nursing, to include two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
A degree in Public Health, Mental Health and Counseling, Business Administration, Epidemiology, Nursing or a closely related field.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
