Description: The Mill Creek Clinic Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the Mill Creek Family Practice in Paullina, Iowa. He/she effectively handles the day-to-day details of the work flow. The manager is an essential link between the physicians and the Director of Clinic Services. She/he needs to ensure customer satisfaction, both internally and externally. He/she adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Orange City Area Health System in all aspects of job performance.
Number of Hours: Full time: 32 hours/week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, actual days may vary.
Educational Requirements: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required. Office experience and previous management experience preferred. Rural Health Clinic knowledge is a plus.
Other: Must be organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines while dealing with many interruptions. Must effectively communicate with physicians, staff and patients. Must have a basic knowledge of bookkeeping and medical terminology. Must acquire a general knowledge of all functions within the medical clinic.
