Description: The Director of Plant Operations plans, schedules and supervises the maintenance and repair work of building/grounds and equipment. He/she helps coordinate all aspects of building maintenance and repair, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and preventive maintenance. This position interviews, trains, and schedules staff and conducts performance appraisals.
Number of Hours: Full-time: 40 hours/week.
Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Monday – Friday; on-call as needed.
Educational Requirements: Prior management and maintenance experience required. Preferred certification in electrical, HVAC, plumbing and/or related fields.
Other: Must have a general knowledge of plant operations and maintenance procedures and be able to effectively communicate with staff, vendors, contractors, patients, and visitors. He/she adheres to the mission, vision and values of Orange City Area Health System in all aspects of job performance.
