Responsibilities

70% Execution and Delivery - Designs, develops, tests, and deploys code that meets Orange Bees' security & quality standards and customer expectations. Has the initiative to take on new, sometimes challenging work with a sense of urgency. Is customer-focused and understands the business value of the software being developed.

20% Growing - Enthusiastically seeks ways to grow in the field of software development and delivery by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.

10% Supporting and enabling - Supports existing software with feature enhancements and bug fixes. Participates in timely, thorough PR reviews ensuring project success while adhering to organization standards.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
• 5 years of professional experience as a .NET developer using C#.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
• Expertise with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and UI/UX designers, to gather and understand software requirements.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines.
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
