Oral Surgery Partners is Hiring a Hospital Treatment Coordinator Near Peoria, IL

Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons has been serving patients in Peoria, IL for over 50 years. We are leaders in oral surgery, specializing in wisdom teeth extractions, dental implant placement, and complex oral surgery needs for jaw correction, trauma, and identified pathology. 
We need a detail-oriented Hospital/Surgical Suite Coordinator to join our team at our Peoria location. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the patient’s treatment at the local hospital as well as the surgical suite located in our Peoria office.
Oral Surgery Practice: Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons
Location: 2807 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61604
Position: Full-time 
Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am to 3:30pm. 
Job Responsibilities will include:
  • Insurance verification
  • Estimating insurance coverage and calculating patient out of pocket expenses
  • Obtain or initiate prior-authorization requirements, and verifications of coverage for outpatient facility. Generate letters of medical necessity as necessary.
  • Preparing treatment plans for surgery and presenting that information in person to patients to help them have a clear understanding of their financial responsibility. 
  • Collecting money and making financial arrangements with patients
  • Educate patients on their pre-operative requirements.
  • Gathering all necessary pre-op testing and lab information prior to surgery
  • Scheduling all hospital/surgical suite and in office cases
  • Maintain and update anesthesia schedule.
  • Coordinate treatment and surgical requirements with hospitals and anesthesia
  • Upload imaging for fabrication of plating systems.
  • Field ER/hospital trauma calls. Make the necessary arrangements to schedule the case.
  • Follow up on patients who have not completed treatment.
  • Case acceptance data analysis
