Job Description

The Oracle National Security Realms (ONSR) is currently in need of a Data Engineer to help us develop, deliver, and maintain a distributed system of analytic databases to support operations, customers, and Oracle decision makers. This is a new team with exciting opportunities to help us shape Analytics and Business Intelligence for OCI’s portfolio of restricted realm business. In this role you will be responsible for enabling data warehouses, optimizing existing databases for efficient analysis, creating table schema using ETL. You will collaborate with your fellow data data engineers for the development and delivery of front-end visualization and dashboard systems in both classified and unclassified environments.

Duties will include:

• Building complex data systems involving large data sets - collecting metrics, building data pipelines, and analytics
• Work with multiple APIs to pull data, process and store in different storage systems to be absorbed by multiple customers
• Analyze and develop frameworks to improve system uptime, service metrics, performance, and deployment automation
• Develop data infrastructure to use data for advanced analytics & data science algorithms
• Orchestrate & maintain meaningful operational and service metrics and dashboards
• Manage full stack data infrastructure with complex data pipelines processing both structural and unstructured datasets
• Develop automation solutions for movement of data from one kind of storage to another
