Oracle GDI - Government Defense & Intelligence is looking for a Cloud Account Executive to be responsible for Government accounts with a focus on the National Reconnaissance Office.
This is a flexible/ hybrid work position with a preference for a candidate based in the Virginia/ DC area.
About the opportunity (What you will do)
In this role, you will understand Oracle Cloud value differentiators for the NRO mission needs and be responsible to provide Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions to address mission critical problems. Primary job duty is to serve as a client advocate for your customer and to identify, qualify and capture Oracle Cloud opportunities. You will also be responsible to manage your territory including the entire sales process, to include business development, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales client satisfaction. Your success in this role will mean you are able to leverage the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. The successful candidate will build and expand business partner and system integrator relationships and help identify mutual benefits from the partnership. You will work with a cross functional team that includes capture and business development, software, consulting, and hardware.
