Responsibilities:
- Help the Store manager to lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service from the grand opening and beyond.
- Help the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability, leveraging the excitement of a new store opening.
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies, setting the tone for a high-performing team.
- Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and enhance brand loyalty, establishing the new store as a go-to destination.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, from day one and maintain the mall’s standards and regulations by the store and staff.
- Help and support the Store Manager Plan and manage the store schedule to properly and effectively cover peaks in demand such as holidays, weekends and sales promotions within a defined budget.
- Effectively and responsibly implement and supervise any brand and corporate initiatives and instructions, fostering relationships and seamless communication with leadership and professional employees in corporate and the other stores of the chain.
- Identify, mentor and develop high potential employees to establish succession plans.
- Supervise the store’s staff, attend to any employment related issues in a professional manner to ensure employee satisfaction within the framework of their responsibilities. Collaborate and escalate to Human Resources department, leadership, or Legal any respective issues.
- Adhere and enforce any applicable regulation, obligation or compliance requirements of the workplace or business. Ensure that the entire staff always conducts according to the law and mall’s standards and that training and refreshment programs are up to date.
- Additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 1 or 2 years’ experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, especially during the critical phase of a new store opening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and team members alike.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service, with the adaptability to thrive in a new environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations from the outset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, especially during the launch period.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends to create excitement around the new store's offerings.
- Proactive, self-driving and conduct oneself in a manner that serves a role model to the store’s staff.
- Proficient in computer and software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
