Optimyl Benefits is Hiring a Remote Eligibility Specialist

Overview

The Eligibility Specialist will be responsible for facilitating critical enrollment processes throughout the life cycle of our employer clients’ customer journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate processing of enrollment changes that are communicated through several different platforms from several different stakeholder types.
  • Deliver white-glove support to our broker partners, employer clients, and their employees.
  • Perform in-depth reviews of paperwork to ensure documentation is in order and work with internal sales professionals, external brokers and customers to obtain necessary information.
  • Data entry of enrollment information.
  • Provide feedback to the Company in order to improve the efficiency and service of the enrollment department.
  • Efficiently process enrollment changes accurately and within agreed-upon service standards
  • Serve as one of the subject matter experts for:
    • Our internal benefits Administration platform and any external platforms our customers utilize.
    • Section 125 rules and when enrollment changes are allowed to occur.
  • Master Company’s product portfolio in order to best represent the Company in the marketplace and service customers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exposure to health insurance 
  • Self-motivated – ability to work successfully without ongoing supervision
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Fluent in English
