Summary
The purpose of the Check-In Specialist is to insure the accurate and timely inspection of new or pre-owned units into the Optimum RV inventory.
Responsibilities
· Conduct inspection on all incoming units, new or pre-owned, for immediate function, missing, defective, or damage to the unit or components and record issues as per the company process for check-in, following the company approved checklist.
· Report any immediate major issues, new or pre-owned, to a manager for review before releasing transport drivers or turning in check-in inspection sheet to respective departments on trade or consignment units.
· Meet and greet each customer or transport driver at delivery site for inspection.
· Document and relay to advisor and/or sales manager any customer concerns and questions, including functional issues to be addressed by technicians.
· Attend all company required meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements.
· Ability to learn the systems and features of a RV.
· Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
· Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
