Introduction

A learning designer is responsible for designing the learning content, including instructor-led training materials, eLearning modules, and self-paced resources, that powers our customer and partner educational programs. You will manage the end-to-end production of technical learning design projects, from scoping and development to maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and building training content for use in instructor-led, self-paced, and blended learning experiences. This might include code labs to help developers and users learn to use new products, reference materials on how to build specific features, tutorials on how to use a tool, or instructor-led sessions.
  • Assessing business and learner needs and defining learning objectives for new courses.
  • Accurately scoping project timelines. Managing content production timelines and the work of contributors as needed.
  • Participating in peer review and pairing with other learning designers to support continuous improvement and professional growth.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and/or technical concepts relevant to content management systems, digital commerce and/or experimentation-driven software development.
  • Experience building learning content and resources (eg, tutorials, code labs, documentation, or eLearning) on highly technical topics, such as software engineering or data science.
  • Experience as a learning designer in a corporate or adult learning setting, with the demonstrated ability to deliver top-notch content that engages participants and moves the needle on learning growth.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience
