Job Summary:

The Vice President, Residential & Community Living Services, is responsible for supporting the facilitation and implementation of a person-centered and inclusive service culture within Opportunity Partners. This position oversees the strategic direction for all Residential & Community Living services; including group homes, supported apartment programs, and in-home services.

In collaboration with the Executive Team, the Vice President, Residential & Community Living works to advance financial sustainability and provide strategic direction for Opportunity Partners. This role also collaborates with the Executive Team and other leaders in the organization to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in both the service and employment experience of the organization.

The Vice President, Residential & Community Living, directly supervises senior leaders in this service area of the organization, which offers 24/7 services. As staff members of OP, this team works together to advance the quality of life for people with disabilities.

Salary: $100,000.00

How will you make a difference?

As part of our team, you will:

  1. Provide vision and direction for long- and short-range Residential & Community Living service goals in conjunction with Opportunity Partners’ strategic plan.
  2. Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and career counseling.
  3. Establish and meet annual budget goals; identify and prioritize areas of growth.
  4. Cultivate relationships with individuals and organizations/agencies in the field to strengthen partnerships and collaboration.
  5. Provide recommendations for investments for service sustainability, growth and future success.
  6. Working in conjunction with the executive team, monitor & assure quality in the services provided; implements corrective action when necessary.
  7. With the VP of Day & Employment Services, drive innovation to continually improve and develop new, sustainable service models that reflect the changing needs of the disability community.
  8. With CEOs and VP Day & Employment, Lead the Service Design Committee of the Board of Directors, set strategic goals and drive engagement throughout the organization.
  9. Work collaboratively to champion and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the culture of the organization.
  10. Model and cultivate a person-centered mindset and positive interaction strategies.
  11. Act as an ambassador by providing excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders; attend and support organizational events and engage with trade associations to support public policy advocacy for disability services.

What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?

  • Four-year college degree in the field of social sciences, human services or equivalent degree preferred, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum five years of experience in strategic service planning, leading complex teams, and (preferably) providing government and grant funded services.
  • Minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience in Office 365 Suite, case management and scheduling system.
