Opportunities Industrialization Center of Washingt is Hiring a Data and Reporting Specialist Near Yakima, WA

Description

The Data and Reporting Specialist solicits, collects, analyzes, and reports data to ensure students are enrolled in approved education, training, and support service programs. The Data and Reporting Specialist enters information into the Agency database and applicable funding source databases to be used for program reports, funding procurement, community assessments, and strategic planning. This position will assist the Data and Reporting management team in providing training and technical support to all OIC staff.

Requirements

  • Supports Data and Reporting Coordinator and Data and Reporting Manager as needed. 
  • Processes information submitted by all programmatic offices. 
  • Analyzes organizational and programmatic data. 
  • Serves as the secondary source of information relating to applicant eligibility criteria, enrollment, and documentation procedures. 
  • Assists in identifying and implementing necessary edit checks and data integrity processes. 
  • Enters required applicant and participant data expeditiously. 
  • Assists with data relationships on the records database. 
  • Verifies program information on forms received and takes steps necessary for corrections as required. 
  • Maintains file integrity and provides each file for manager review, as needed. 
  • Assists in the processing of paperwork, such as invoices, status reports, program student timesheets and attendance records, purchase authorization forms and staff reports. 
  • Enter information into the Client Management Systems (CMS). 
  • Verifies the accuracy of the information. 
  • Work with the accounting department when additional information is needed to process participant support service paperwork. 
  • Communicate problems to supervisors immediately. 
  • Provide data, research, and other digital literacy training basics to staff, interns, and other stakeholders. 
  • Assists Data and Reporting Coordinator with regular audits of program files to ensure compliance with funding source guidelines. 
  • Assist with completing and processing Outreach, Data Management, and Special Initiatives requisitions.
  • Remain current on applicable Federal and State program guidelines. 
  • Other duties assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • A.A. Degree; (BA degree preferred) in Social Services or related field.
  • One to Two (1-2) years of experience in data collection, case management and/or customer service 
  • Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
