Essential Responsibilities:
Manage and retain existing Book of Business of Commercial Insurance clients
Oversee the renewal process, including marketing, negotiating with underwriters, creating rate/cost/loss analysis exhibits, and maintaining contact with the client throughout the process
Counsel clients on coverage needs, policy language, projected costs, and other items
Maintains significant client interaction in-person and via telephone
Reviews and comments on leases, sub-contracts, and other documents
Assists with drafting insurance requirements, indemnification language, and other items
Crafts Stewardship reports and semi-annual claim reviews as needed
Resolves loss control recommendations, audit issues, and coverage problems
Attend carrier meetings, industry conferences, and periodic client entertainment events
Completes assigned educational responsibilities
Works in direct support of Commercial Producers and Commercial Claims Associates to intervene in the claims process, as needed, to interpret coverage language, assist with communication, and reach a favorable resolution
Assist with day-to-day claims processing and handling as needed.
Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
5 years combined industry experience with at least two of those years in Sales/Production
Extensive coverage knowledge in all lines of commercial insurance
Established a network of contacts with underwriters, good relationships, and an understanding of each carrier’s appetite
Strong customer service skills
Strong analytical skills for analyzing insurance coverage forms and strategizing solutions
Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Comfort with Excel and Powerpoint

Physical Requirements:
