Director of Product, Small Business Solutions

Position Summary
Openforce is seeking a strategic and business-oriented senior product leader to expand the products and services we make available to independent contractors to manage their businesses. The product director will lead a small team with a mission to drive value for Openforce’s contractor community of 180,000 members. In this role, you’ll own the product strategy and roadmap for our Mobile Application, the IC Benefits Marketplace, and our Recruiting solution. The successful candidate will partner closely with Engineering (onshore & offshore), Finance, Operations, Client Experience, Sales, and others. You’ll need to champion client and business requirements, balancing the needs of clients with Openforce’s growth objectives. Previous product management leadership experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities
Owns the success of Openforce’s small business solutions product suite.
Prepare business cases for investment in new features and products. Present to executive leadership team for approval.
Deliver improvements that Independent Contractors use and value (Measured by improved Net Promoter Score).
Partner closely with other product managers to integrate features across the platform
Write feature requirements (Epics, User Stories) including acceptance criteria
Serve as Product Owner, participating Agile SCRUM ceremonies and processes.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog
Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as marketing, customer success, training, finance, legal, and other teams as needed to provide training, optimize solutions, and support enhancement releases

Experience and Education
8 years of experience as a Product Manager at a B2B SaaS organization
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, or equivalent.
Master’s degree in business, preferred.
Hands-on experience with Agile SCRUM development, product roadmaps, and B2B SaaS models. Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master certification, preferred.
Proficiency in collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Atlassian (Confluence & Jira), Salesforce, and Monday.com.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in leading enterprise-level projects and coordinating across multiple departments.
Pragmatic Product Management certification, a plus.
The ideal candidate lives in Arizona and is able to commute to our North Scottsdale office at least twice a month.
