Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager and Fleet Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Logistics Manager and Fleet Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient flow of materials, equipment, and resources essential for the construction and maintenance of fiber optic networks. You will collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and field technicians to optimize supply chain operations and ensure project timelines are met. You will manage vehicle inventory, registration, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to support the construction and maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure.

• Coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites.

• Manage inventory levels, forecasting future needs, and optimizing stock levels to minimize project delays and excess inventory costs.

• Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials, negotiate pricing, and establish vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.

• Oversee fleet management activities, including vehicle maintenance, routing, and driver scheduling to ensure efficient transportation of equipment and resources.

• Establish and maintain partnerships with third-party logistics providers to supplement in-house capabilities as needed.

• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to drive operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards in all logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry.

• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and transportation logistics.

• Proficiency in logistics software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to logistics operations.
