OnWay Transport is looking for a positive and motivated individual with the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment. (No selling our Recruiters provide all Drivers). As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating critical level pickup/delivery requests from our clients. 
We dispatch our drivers to medical facilities, hospitals, and pharmacies in thirteen (13) states. We are looking for someone that has great customer service, a driven disposition, understanding of urgency, dispatching experience, and can work well individually and/or in a team setting. We offer hands-on extensive training and mentoring.

Work Schedule (Day Shift): 9am-9pm Wednesday through Saturday.
Our Dispatchers work three (3) 12-hour days a week and work a 4th day every other week.
Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • Operate multiple telephone lines in a high-volume environment.
  • Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers and drivers.
  • Dispatching drivers to designated locations based on customer requests and scheduling needs.
  • Create, schedule, and maintain deliveries for optimal performance.
  • Utilize Xcelerator and GPS software systems to track driver locations and monitor performance.
  • Monitor driver routes and provide updates to customers regarding pickup/delivery status.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
  • 2 Years’ experience Dispatching Drivers. (Courier and/or Final Mile experience is highly desired).
  • 2 Years’ experience using Dispatch or TMS software.
  • 3-4 Years of top-notch customer service experience.
  • Technology Savvy and stays abreast of new technology.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
  • Must have a positive attitude with the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure and effectiveness.
  • Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Experience in Transportation and/or Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
