- Operate multiple telephone lines in a high-volume environment.
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers and drivers.
- Dispatching drivers to designated locations based on customer requests and scheduling needs.
- Create, schedule, and maintain deliveries for optimal performance.
- Utilize Xcelerator and GPS software systems to track driver locations and monitor performance.
- Monitor driver routes and provide updates to customers regarding pickup/delivery status.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
- 2 Years’ experience Dispatching Drivers. (Courier and/or Final Mile experience is highly desired).
- 2 Years’ experience using Dispatch or TMS software.
- 3-4 Years of top-notch customer service experience.
- Technology Savvy and stays abreast of new technology.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
- Must have a positive attitude with the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure and effectiveness.
- Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Experience in Transportation and/or Logistics is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
