Medical Receptionist/Phone Support:

OnSpot Dermatology is looking to add a Medical Receptionist/Phone Center support specialist for our high-volume mobile dermatology practice that serves patients throughout the state of Florida. OnSpot is a leading healthcare practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We deliver full-service dermatology care in two permanent locations (Orlando and Fort Myers) as well as utilizing state-of-the-art mobile medical clinics. This position will be based in our brick-and-mortar facility in Fort Myers/Orlando and will combine in-person check-in as well as phone support for our check-in staff at our mobile clinics.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

• Verify patient information and insurance coverage

• Collect co-pays and process payments

• Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed

• Coordinate referrals needed for appointments and follow-up exams

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred

• Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical office setting

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems

• Knowledge of insurance benefit details

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
