EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
High school diploma and two (2) years of related clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months
SALARY: Salary Grade 57
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions of the school using computerized accounting program (Receipt all monies, check invoices, pay all bills, reconcile bank statements, make bank deposits, etc.).
• Submit payroll data to the central office for all employees including attendance and substitutes.
• Complete necessary reports for school administration, i.e. fire drill, property change, sales tax, principal's monthly report, sanitation, etc.
• Secure substitute teachers for teacher absences.
• Assist with purchases of supplies for school and office.
• Handle administrative correspondence for the school.
• File student insurance claims.
• Perform other duties, as necessary, to assist with school administration.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms routinely.
• Ability to bend, stoop, carry, push, or pull.
• Ability to carry furniture such as tables and chairs, supplies and materials.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds routinely and 30 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to facilitate the evacuation of students during emergency situations and/or drills.
• Must be able to visually and auditorily effectively communicate with staff and students.
• Must be able to drive to variety of locations necessary to conduct school business.
• Must be able to tolerate a noisy, busy work environment with occasional very loud noises.
