Job Summary
Onin Staffing is currently seeking Warehouse Material Handlers for a local steel and metals distributor in Jacksonville. This is a full time temp to perm position with competitive pay and great benefits
Pay - $16 - $17 pr/hour
Shift - 1st shift / 6 am -2 pm
2nd shift / 3 pm - midnight
Job Responsibilities
• Loads and unloads materials by operating overhead cranes and forklifts
• Receives and properly tags incoming inventory
• Maintains production line equipment with raw material to eliminate down-time
• Performs functions in the computer to tag, ship and receive material
• Other duties as assigned
Work Experience• High School diploma or GED; or one to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mathematical skills - Able to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to use units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance
• Language skills - Basic – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
