As an Outpatient Clinical Care Assistant in Dentistry, you will provide care to diverse populations of patients under the supervision of the Dentist or Certified Dental Assistant. An Outpatient Clinical Care Assistant in this role is familiar with performing health screenings, collecting specimens, updating health records, keeping medical supplies stocked, maintaining examination areas, and monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions. Outpatient Clinical Care Assistants also perform a variety of administrative duties, such as appointment scheduling and patient registration, which offers a unique learning opportunity that will expand your skillset.
