As a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics, you will use your medical assisting skills to provide care to patients under a physician or nurse's supervision. A Medical Assistant in this role is familiar with performing health screenings, collecting specimens, administering medication, updating health records, keeping medical supplies stocked, maintaining examination areas, and monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions. Medical Assistants also perform administrative duties, such as appointment scheduling and patient registration, which offers a unique learning opportunity to expand your skillset.
