Position Summary
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Primarily responsible for installation, repairs and maintenance of various security devises (e.g., cylinder locks, key systems, furniture locking hardware, locker systems, panic bars and electric strikes).
Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
3 years locksmith work experience (institutional preferred) including excellent skills with power and hand tools, key cutting equipment and basic skills in metalwork, electrical and carpentry; knowledge of commnon products; basic computer knowledge, good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions are required.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $47.755. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
