Job Purpose and Impact
The Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator will provide support with environmental, health and safety compliance and will provide administrative support. In this role, you will provide assistance to develop, implement and maintain processes and programs built to ensure compliance with existing federal, state and local health and safety regulations and requirements at sites with highly environmentally regulated technologies or highly hazardous processes, high risk of serious injuries and fatality.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the program review of environmental health and safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessments and opportunities on an ongoing and proactive basis and ensure the followup actions are being implemented.
- Assist in conducting incident investigation based on incident classification and liaise with engineers, management and health and safety regulatory authorities and support in identifying causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
- Provide system support activities using Cargill system (Enablon, Avetta, MOC, Procedure Accelerator, etc) to document issues, risks, training and action plans.
- Identify potential emergency situations, support the management of action plans, assist in creating emergency communication plans, support testing plans and validate the emergency action plans.
- Help update training and education solutions related to environmental, health and safety issues, practices and risks in alignment with global programs.
- Assist in updating procedures and environment, health and safety program and process documentation in alignment with global programs and incorporate clearly defined instructions and edits provided by more senior team members.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Strong scientific and mathematical knowledge
- Solid working knowledge of food safety industry practices and standards
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the system/administration of Enablon, Procedure Accelerator, Avetta, MOC etc. in managing environmental health and safety policies and procedures
