Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they're well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, oversight and direction to Maintenance Programs Engineering and Technical Data Management teams to ensure effective and efficient maintenance program performance and distribution and management of all Technical Operations documentation
  • Ensure regulatory requirements and reliability standards are achieved
  • Direct and coordinate the implementation of the routine maintenance program
  • Direct development and communication of a maintenance program and technical data management evolution strategy in accordance with line maintenance, planning, facilities, financial and labor constraints
  • Direct ongoing analysis of maintenance program tasks ensuring yield and performance expectations are optimized
  • Direct development of maintenance program management, strategy, and analysis skills within existing maintenance program team
  • Develop and maintain manual distribution platforms for consumption by all end users
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintenance organization to improve efficiency and output in accordance with planning, facilities, financial and labor constraints
  • Work with business partners ensuring to increase effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance program and technical data portfolio

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation related field or equivalent experience
  • 10 years Maintenance Programs/Planning experience
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in a related capacity
  • Understanding and knowledge of Maintenance Steering Group-3 (MSG-3) planning applications
  • Leading and managing large scale project implementations by being responsible for getting cross divisional subject matter experts together, conduct brainstorming sessions and requirements facilitation sessions
  • Implementing department and individual objectives; Define, prioritize, track and provide status reporting of work assignments and/or projects
  • Lead and coordinate sessions on business strategy, road map sessions, and provide recommendations for automation of business processes
  • Outstanding communicator, capable of describing the business impact and cost justification of initiatives as well as monitor risks, progress toward realization, and commitment to change and take appropriate actions when concerns are identified
  • Continuous improvement, and possess the ability to influence at across all levels
  • Analytical & Tool development
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • The position is located in Chicago and adheres to a hybrid work schedule, which provides a balance of on-site and remote work opportunities
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including domestic and international
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licenses
  • Mechanical engineering or other engineering related experience
