Our client, a private family owned global manufacturing company based in New Orleans, in business for over 70 years is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate should bring:
Required Skills:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 2-5 years of related electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with PLC programming - Mitsubishi experience a plus
- Structured text programming experience desired
- Visual Studio or VB6 programming experience
- Must be willing to travel domestic and international as needed
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team, vendors, clients
Job Responsibilities:
- Writing and maintaining PLC and HMI software
- Assisting with installation and troubleshooting
- Writing PC software to communicate with PLC
