OneSource Medical Diagnostics is a provider of administrative and support services to Expert MRI, a radiology group. OneSource Medical Diagnostics is currently seeking to fill our newest open position as an Entry Level Accounts Receivable (AR) Legal Case Status Clerk. The A/R Legal Status Clerk follows up on open account receivables to collect, update and close/settle files

**Schedule - Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

**Pay Range - $19.00-$21.42 per hour based on relevant experience

Day to Day would include:

• Follows up on open AR for case details.
• Follow up on all assigned tasks and assign tasks as needed in association with open AR.
• Process incoming mail, including department emails, updating accounts with payment information while identifying patient information on correspondence, i.e., checks, EOBs, etc.
• Enter in payments, adjustments, denials, and settlement offers.
• Prepare and process bank deposits.
• Handle patient or attorney phone calls.
• If a case is settling for lower than the threshold, make sure to get approval from collections representative and management.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing other related duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Related experience in the healthcare industry preferred
• MS Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Billing and Collection software knowledge a plus
