Oneida Health is Hiring a Mammography Tech - Part Time Near Oneida, NY
Oneida Health is currently seeking a Mammography Technologist to care for patients in our Radiology Department. Under the general direction of the Radiologist and Chief Mammography Technologist, this position will perform Digital Mammograms of the breast at a technical level that will produce high quality mammographic images. This position may also perform breast localization procedures as needed.
- Hourly range: $30 - $40/hour

What You’ll be Great At:
- Completing patient education regarding examination and procedures.
- Promoting privacy and comfort for patients during their time in the hospital.
- Performing diagnostic and/or screening mammograms as ordered by the Radiologist.
- Preparing for and assisting the Radiologist in completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
- Producing high-quality films for evaluation by the Radiologist.
- Completing appropriate documentation of the appointment, including billing information.
- Performing quality control functions in relation to mammography.
- Assisting in compilation and maintenance of statistical data.

Your Essential Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an approved JCERT program (Required)
- License:
- ARRT advanced certification in Mammography, licensed by NYS
- Certifications:
- BLS (Required)
- Experience:
- Medical Imaging: 1 year (Preferred)
