Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related Field with a minimum of 18 Early Childhood Credits
• Must possess current NJ Director's Credential, or ability/willingness to earn the credential in a reasonable time-frame
• Documented experience with young children
• Experience in administration and personnel supervision
• Enthusiastic, motivated, able to multi-task and possesses strong leadership skills.
• Prior Knowledge of NJ Licensing requirements
• Experience in all aspects of running a center.
• Shows initiative

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Monitor daily staffing patterns. Assist in classroom when needed to ensure we are in accordance with NJ staffing ratios.
• Oversee tours and inquiries
• Initiate and be able to carry out plans for solving problems and dealing with emergencies
• Set up and train staff in use of ongoing daily communication/sign in software.
• Supervise, train, develop team building among staff, evaluate employees and respond to employee concerns.
