JOB SUMMARY
This person will be responsible for the implementation of project work and field work while ensuring consistency with company culture and vision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Perform field/office work independently at Client locations (offsite).
2. Analyze data as directed by Project Manager and increase independent work over time.
3. Complete simple data collection activities with minimal supervision.
4. Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors, regulatory officials, customers, and fellow employees.
5. Adhere to budget constraints and project deadlines.
6. Prepare and generate routine reports.
7. Strict adherence to meeting deliverable schedules, budgets, and quality of work standard.
8. Complete field work as directed by the Project Manager. Typical field tasks include (but are not limited to): contractor oversight of various field activities, gauging and bailing wells, groundwater and soil sampling, remedial system operation and maintenance, compliance monitoring and inspections, stormwater monitoring, erosion and sediment control inspections, and asbestos and lead inspections.
9. Assist with preparation of technical compliance documents required by local, State, and Federal environmental regulations. Examples include (but are not limited to) Permit Applications and Permit Exemption Demonstrations for various media (air, water, waste), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Contingency Plans, and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Section 311, 312, and 313 Reports.
10. Complete tasks for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs): flood zone, radon, drinking water, and soil information collection; preparation of maps with property boundaries; locate property information from GIS websites; complete FOIA process; and evaluation of radius maps.
11. Strict adherence to health and safety rules and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
· B.S. or M.S. Engineering or Scientific Discipline
· Zero to Five Years of experience working in the environmental industry
Preferred Education and Experience
· Certifications: 40-hr HAZWOPER
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
· A physical exam is required to obtain medical clearance for hazardous waste work
· Must pass drug test, background check, physical, and must have a satisfactory driving record
· A valid driver's license is required
Travel
•Some overnight travel may be required, but not anticipated to exceed 50%.
•Willingness to travel and work on out of state projects.
•Willingness to travel and work at Client project sites on a weekly basis.
