!! URGENT NEED FOR A RN SUPERVISOR IN ONEONTA, NY !!

A facility in Oneonta, NY is looking for a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/T RN) Supervisor. Some float to floor expected. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Step down experience preferred. Travel experience preferred. Float to 2 South. Travelers cannot be resident of Otsego county. Cannot be former staff employee of Bassett Healthcare Network within the past year. Some floating between Bassett Healthcare Network facilities possible. Caregivers are expected to make up any missed shifts within same pay period or following pay period, with the exception of mandated medical quarantine or at managers discretion.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:

* 14-week assignment

* Start Date : 3/11/2024

* Unit: MS/Tele

* Schedule: 07:00 AM-07:30 PM occasional float to floor

QUALIFICATIONS:

* At least 2 years of recent & relevant experience as an RN

Supervisor

* Oneonta, NY RN License

* Basic Life Support (BLS)

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

* Step down experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Creating and implementing nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment while planning, prioritizing and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members

* Managing medication schedules and ensuring communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors

* Encouraging all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care and conducting regular staff reviews

* Maintaining knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care and educating teams

* Communicating with patients and their family members as needed, and offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress

* Assessing, processing and discharging patients

* Managing patient and employee records with a focus on following HIPAA regulations and quality standards

* Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff and physicians

RATES:

Travel Rate | Hourly Rate: $ 47.00

Weekly Taxed Pay $ 1,692

Weekly Stipend $ 1,162.00

Completion Bonus $ 500.00

Weekly gross pay before taxes $ 2,854.00

Local Rate | Hourly Rate: $ 81.00

Weekly gross pay before taxes $ 2,916.00
