A facility in Rochester, NY is looking for an Electrophysiology Lab RN.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years CL/EP experience
• Epic experience
• NY State License
• AHA ACLS and BLS Certification
• Travel experience preferred

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:

Start date : 04/15/2024

13-week contract

36 hrs/week

3x12, Days

• Procedural - Cath and EP.
• MI, heart failure, unknown cardiac illness.
• Impella, LVAD, ECMO, IABP, Arterial sheath removal, Arterial Blood Gases, Blood Product Administration, Chest Tubes, Biphasic Defibrillation, Art lines, Central Lines.
• Float within service line.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Explain to patients the processes and procedures involved in electrophysiology
• Provide answers to any questions patients might have
• Watch over patients and notify physicians for any problems that might develop
• Sedate patients before an electrophysiology procedure
• Perform circulating functions and scrub patients for surgical placement of pacemakers and defibrillators
• Evaluate defibrillators and pacemakers during and after procedures
• Administer drugs to patients
