Are you passionate about projects and helping people succeed? Are you team-oriented? Omnitech is looking to add a dedicated, eager, open-minded Project Manager based at our Rapid City, SD, or Sioux Falls, SD location. This is a full-time, on-site position.
As an Omnitech Project Manager, you will use your project management skills and industry knowledge to ensure successful project completion; adapt to and lead change, and work to solidify Omnitech’s presence in the local marketplace and nationwide through consistent deliver of a rewarding customer experience. Using a consultative approach, and working with other members of the Omnitech team, you will coordinate projects from conception through implementation. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical product design, development, and implementation of the assigned project.

· Understand multiple project management methodologies and embrace new and inventive ways to accomplish project goals.
· Be responsible for maintaining the scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and impediments for projects.
· Collaborate with multiple teams for systems analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and product support.
· Manage resource schedules and update management on potential changes and opportunities.
· Proactively communicate project progress to all levels of management and stakeholders.
· Provide leadership and direction and strengthen company culture in a team environment. Understand that our learning culture is imperative to business success.
· Mentor team members through servant leadership principles, sharing past challenges, and fostering a culture of trust.
· Embrace change and guide teams and clients through challenges with positivity.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
· Two to five years of experience as a project manager or project leader.
· PMI (Project Management Institute) Certifications are preferred. Certified Associate Project Manager desired. Project Management Professional (PMP) is a bonus but not required.
· Experience with project management tools and methodologies, product development lifecycle, and problem-solving.
· Ability to manage multiple products simultaneously, and the ability to meet stated project deadlines.
· Success in leading and managing peers in a team-based environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, BaseCamp, Monday.com, Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
