Omniscius Consulting is Hiring a Program Analyst Near Washington, DC

Our client is seeking a Program Analyst to support a Homeland Security (DHS) client in Washington DC. This role focuses identifying and mitigating risks to national critical functions, disaster preparedness, and other elevated crisis actions related to current events.
Ideal candidates will have experience in risk analysis, including risk communication and analysis, emergency management, and familiarity with physical sciences. Through this role, you will have the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients' day in and day out. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, partners and clients to ideate, initiate and complete task, projects, and initiatives. You will work on mission-oriented projects, where you will be able to bring forward actionable insights, solve complex problems, and thrive on delivering meaningful solutions. 

  • Research threats, vulnerabilities, and consequences to critical infrastructure from both cyber and physical disruptions to develop analysis products.
  • Develop, coordinate, and publish data visualization products that will effectively communicate various incident types.
  • Develop and publish Standard Operating Processes (SOPs), instruction documentation, and Product Templates for client activities in response to overall requirements for incident response.
  • Develop and maintain fact sheets on client analytic capabilities.
  • Publish a weekly Incident Response Summary.
  • Develop, coordinate, and publish briefing slides, assessments, analysis of recommendations.
  • Develop briefing materials that effectively communicate key messages of analytic products.
  • Review intelligence analyses and distilling for multiple audiences.
  • Serve as subject matter experts in both physical and cyber infrastructure risks across DHS critical infrastructure sectors and their sub-sectors. 

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible required.
  • Currently hold, or able to obtain and maintain, DHS fitness determination. 
  • Experience supporting DHS preferred.
  • 2-5 years of work experience in research, analysis, quantitative analysis, and data visualization. 
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, organize, and clearly communicate team objectives. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
