Omnia Healthcare Group is adding an Accounting Intern for the summer to support the work of the Finance team. 

Accounting Intern Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn how to work within a Financial Department.
• Shadow Finance Department staff and assist with financial report preparation. 
• Assist with researching, filing, data entry and record keeping 
• Work with accounting software and learn how to track and analyze financial information  
• All other duties, as assigned. 

Accounting Intern Qualifications and Skills

• Strong numeracy and analytical skills. 
• Good problem solving and time management skills. 
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Attention to detail and accuracy/proficiency in data entry 
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. 
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel 

Accounting Intern Education and Experience

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s level program in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and basic understanding of accounting and financial principals.
