ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager of Commercial Sales is responsible for researching and developing business opportunities that leverage the company’s core competencies as well as coordinate, manage, and execute charters and programs. Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:

  • Seek out commercial sales opportunities on global scale ensuring contact is made via email, phone, and in person
  • Assist with new program start- ups, developing evaluations, planning and checklists
  • Routinely communicate with existing and potential customers; build and maintain effective professional relationships
  • Oversee the management and coordination of program reconciliations
  • Provide financial/logistical based support including competitive rate information to the marketing department for pricing strategies on new business
  • Manage sales and project management in the company’s CRM system(s)
  • Be able to negotiate contracts with worldwide customers
  • Be the primary person for pricing single charter requests
  • Attend National and International conferences, tradeshows, and meetings that provide visibility and exposure to the company while creating sales and marketing opportunities
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Commercial Sales or VP of Business Planning and Strategy
  • Travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Possess or be capable of obtaining a passport for international travel.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various completion requirements in time-sensitive environment
  • Above average working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • Aviation experience, corporate sales with demonstrated sales success, or combination of experience and education is required
  • Passenger Airline experience, part 121 or part 135 is a plus

  • Ability to handle numerous activities at once and complete in a timely manner
  • Work with limited supervision and possess an impeccable attention to detail, excellent customer service and organizational skills required
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information skillfully with detail
  • Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services
  • Ability to develop business resources, compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports
