Job Description/General Function
Under general supervision of the facilities manager, branch executive,and/or childcare director, the bus/van driveroverseesdriving youth safely from school to the YMCA, the YMCA to school,and/or on field trips as authorized and scheduled with the appropriate supervisor.
Responsibilities
Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Completes daily safety checks and lets the appropriate person know of any maintenance issues that need to be addressed
Communicates bus/van equipment repair/replacement needs with the BranchExecutive, FacilityDirector and/or Childcare Director in a timely fashion
Required Skills and Experience
Have a clean and safe driving record
Have a current Washington State Driver’s License
Ability to relate well and communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals,in allcircumstances
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Be 25 years of age or older
Have a current CPR and first aid certification or be able to obtain one within 30 daysof hire

Vehicle environment with constant interruptions
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Carrying supplies, up to 50 lbs.
