We are currently searching for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

What is a Manufacturing Engineer?

A Manufacturing Engineer is a professional responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to ensure efficient production of goods. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve manufacturing methods, equipment, and layouts. Their role involves analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, they may oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to innovate and streamline manufacturing processes to meet business objectives.

In this role, you will:

Work with engineering staff to support operations and sales estimating.

Engage in developing projects and ongoing operational support needs.

Support and participate in service-oriented engineering functions for operations and sales.

Concept-to-completion management of new projects to make ready for operations.

Participate in the reviewing of engineering designs to meet quality requirements.

Review estimates to support "make for manufacture" by best practices.

Assist in design and development of fixtures for welding and forming.

Conceptual design and prints by using SolidWorks 3D CAD system.

Develop DXF files to support programming.

Support and execute the continued practice of operational specific prints for operations.

Maintain and help build best practices to support operations.

Work for continual improvement of performance, safety, and ergonomics.

To succeed in this role, you must:

Have 5 years in a manufacturing engineering role.

Have extensive CAD skills, SolidWorks preferred.

Have experience in laser nesting, Lantek preferred.

Have experience with a MRP system, JobBoss preferred.

Have demonstrated experience with design for manufacturability of new and existing products.

Have experience working to develop technical teams.

Have project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects.
