Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Achieve or exceed yearly targets.
  • Lead the USA OluKai core specialty sales team, motivate, and encourage the team to ensure the sales goals are met. Use the information provided by the operations director to help guide decisions. Coach and monitor rep performance.
  • Travel expectation is estimated at 60% of time. Looking for a true road warrior to help establish and strengthen our relationships with our core specialty accounts specifically with the top 25 as well as all high profile & Pu’ali accounts.
  • Stay close on distribution and identify new potential markets and opportunities, execute on opening distribution as directed by sales leadership. Responsible for approval or denial of all new distribution that falls within the strategic guidelines.
  • Schedule and Execute Monthly calls or in person meetings with all territories. Review all representatives formally after every season (Spring/Fall). Establish formal KPI’s to hold the representatives accountable for performance.
  • Take the Lead on planning Monthly 1st Friday Calls and coordinating with members of the company to participate as needed.
  • Handle all communication out to the external sales team keep them up to date on what is happening with OluKai at large as well as keeping the team at the corporate office up to date with what is happening in the field with a monthly report back to the team.
  • Evaluate and recommend any changes that need to be made to the rep force. Once approved handle the transition as well as actively hiring replacements.
  • Be the expert on the business in Core Specialty, be prepared with selling information and general trends of the business across the country.
  • Help plan and coordinate seasonal sales meetings, tradeshows, and other sales events throughout the year.
  • Work hand in hand with the marketing team on driving campaigns in store as well as making sure we have what we need from a POP & Fixture perspective. Ensure brand go-to market standards are maintained at core specialty retailers nationally.
  • Review rep commissions monthly in partnership with accounting.
  • Work in collaboration with Finance team to handle all credit related issues in an amicable manner.
  • Manage and hold reps accountable for Budget planning and adherence to the plan.
  • Work collaboratively across departmentally to achieve revenue driving objectives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 Years similar experience and/or work within a sales representative or sales manager position within a wholesale environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications. Intermediate Excel Skills.
  • Experience with Full Circle, Domo, Dropbox, RepSpark
  • Ability to effectively prepare and present information to management and other employees of the organization.
  • Highly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to lead a large team. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • The salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus, salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position
