DAYTIME BAKERY OPERATOR/DEPOSITOR

Olson's Baking Company is a leading manufacturer of Frozen Baked Goods for Grocery Stores all over the US. We are seeking an Operator/Depositor for full-time employment. We have a great amount of pride in our company and want to find an employee who enjoys being part of our team.

Position: Operator/Depositor
Starting Pay: $20 to start
Type: Union Position

This job opening is for the Day Shift. Hours of availability need to be between 5am – 5pm Monday - Saturday. Shifts are typically 9-10hrs per day, 4 days a week. Monday - Saturday are the typical days we produce but days and hours may vary due to our production schedule.

Our ideal candidate speaks English, is reliable, possesses strong verbal/written communication skills, and works well in a busy environment alongside the rest of our Production Team. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and take direction from the Production team.

Must have excellent attendance!

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Working with a team on a wholesale production line
• Comfortable with reading and understanding numbers
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and must be available to work holidays and weekends
• Ability to lift 30lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand on your feet for 5 hours and walk on hard floors

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operating the depositing line and oven
• Maintain accurate records
• Accurately follow procedures and protocols
• Ensuring the highest quality of our products
• Satisfactory hearing and vision are required, as is depth perception, color vision, and quick mental and muscular coordination.
