We support students in identifying, gaining access to, and transitioning into appropriate post-secondary opportunities.The ideal candidate will:●Plan and teach a variety of integrated English and Social Studies classes for students in grades 9 through 12.●Should have expertise in American History and Civics.●Be responsible for providing exceptional instruction, balancing challenge and support for students with a wide range of learning profiles and academic background and ability. ●Serve as an academic advisor and team leader to a group of five or six students. As team lead, you will be the point person for communication with parents, and will collaborate with other team members to develop individualized guidance for each advisee. ●Maintain excellent record keeping and communication regarding student work.●Serve as a respite dorm parent every third weekend. Support after school programming and evening study halls one day per week. Respite duties include organizing campus extracurricular activities as well as leading off-campus trips.
