As part of an expanding centralized pricing team, this person will accurately and efficiently create customer quotes to service customers and sales teams. This role will help design and implement pricing guidelines for each of the Oliver product lines. This requires mastering machine capabilities and material pricing for all Oliver sites globally.
Basic Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Two years training/experience in pricing, financial analysis, sales operations, or related jobs
Preferred Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
5 years training/experience in pricing, financial analysis, sales operations, or related jobs
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to effectively present information, influence decision-making, and gain consensus from diverse groups of managers, teammates, and customers.
Strong analytical skills including the use of simple and complex pricing tools
Technical Skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make independent decisions.
Computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, email, experience with statistical and BI programs is a plus (Tableau, SAS, Minitab, etc)
Mathematical skills
Prior knowledge of advanced Excel capabilities or the ability to learn advances Excel capabilities
Other Skills
Pricing, Sales Service or Financial / Costing experience preferred.
Solid understanding of general business and financial accounting principles.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Must demonstrate attention to detail, be able to work independently or as member of a team; must be organized and meet deadlines in stressful situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Works well with people across the organization to gather information, make decisions/recommendations, and drive improvement.
Expert in Microsoft Office. Solid experience in enterprise applications. Report writing know-how is a plus.
