DIRECT HIRE ROLE
The Lead Server Engineer is a mid-level technical role that provides day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for the Windows server and compute stack environments. This role also participates as an active member of project teams. It is expected that this role will operate independently, solve complex problems, fulfill requests, and be accountable for delivering outcomes with moderate amount of supervision.
o Support Windows OS servers running various software applications.
o Maintain and upgrade the OS. Install and test OS patches.
o Configure and manage OS networking.
o Perform user administration tasks (resource assignment, user/group management, etc.)
o Provide proactive recommendations on areas of improvement.
o Detect and troubleshoot system operational and functional issues.
o Perform maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability and performance.
o Configure and manage operating system security and security agents.
o Collaborate with teams providing services such as network, storage, data protection & security.
o Develop, maintain, and support PowerShell and other scripting to automate tasks.
